Meanwhile, on Omicron Persei 8.............

the race of aliens named Perseians were.......

Attacking the Omicronians that call Omicron Persei 8 their home.

And slipping on jelly beans because they couldn't afford shoes...

The war had started as an attempt to take over the galaxies shoe factories because or their constant slipping.

And it turns out the jelly beans, on Omicron Persei 8 are.....

Made of jam and not jelly, which infuriated a few guys...

fueled by anger, they wanted to...

Revolt against the government for lying about jelly being in the beans so......

The government reacted with........

The revelation that they had discovered a new planet, hence renaming Omicron Persei 8 to Omicron Persei 9 in an effort to take attention off the Beansgate scandal...

Which resulted in.........

Waffles raining from the sky...
