I've decided to emulate what the PS3 Side have done and created a Arena PVP "Tournament". This is an 11 Week Season where entered leagues battle it out to become the best pvp league on the USPC Server. The competition starts with 32 Competing leagues, which are then split into 2 divisions: Metropolis or Gotham, the leagues in each division face each other 4 times and the 8 leagues will the highest record are entered into the playoff. Starting in March, and culminating in August this will be a a League vs League event, with a possible 32 Leagues (Villains, and Hereos) able to compete, any league is eligible as their will be a 1 Week rudimentary Round where the Losing leagues will be placed in the division bracket alongside other losing leagues. After each match you gain a "Win-Loss" Ratio, whereby if you have won 2 matches and lost 3 for example it would be a 2-3 Ratio, and thus the leagues will the greatest record will move forward. 3/4 of the season shall be dedicated to each team facing others at least twice with 1 point for a loss and 2 for a win. At the 3/4 season point the top 16 teams move on. The Decision of which leagues battle which is determined by random generator. The format of the Tournament is in the form of 5v5s, so that we are able to include as much people from each league as possible, and are able to have 1-2 players from Each role. After there shall be the 2 Week Introductory Rounds (Introductory Rounds) Where each league battles it out against one another, learning their tactics, and ultimately preparing for the 4 Week Quarter Finals. In this Stage the Remaining Leagues will fight one another and The Competitors shall be split in two (dependent on points). The 8 losing Leagues will split and face one another in a 5(Leagues)vs 5(Leagues) Format and so there shall be 4 Remaining, and the 8 winning leagues will folllow this formate leaving 8 Leagues remaining overall. There shall then be a 4(Leagues) vs 4 (Leagues) format once again for the Concluding stages, these leagues will compete against the designated opponents in a "Best of Three" Format Once in the "Watchtower" map and the 4 worst performing teams teams(Those with the lowest average overall, of win to loses in the Tournament) shall be eliminated in this 3 Week Stage. With the remaining 4 Leagues it will go to the 3 Week Finals, and will go to 4 Leagues against one another, and the losing team eliminated until there are 2 leagues. This final battle will be a Massive event where the Top 2 Leagues battle it out against each other for 1 Victor which shall be crowned winner, and the Best PVP League on the USPC Server. It is possible, however that I could do arenas alongside legends, but this would only include WT 5v5 because of its TDM style, and by far the easiest to control. There are of course rules: Rules for The Fight Club Season 1 1. No Pet Trinkets Allowed. Boos, Jacks, Marketplace, Sea Monsters, and Bat Drones are prohibited. The only pets allowed are the pets that you can obtain through the use of Power Points from the Power trees. sidekicks are also considerd as a pet 2. No Omac or Snowman Trinkets. Only Trinkets permitted are CC, FoS, PvP, Halloween Talisman, and other non-pet PVE Trinkets. 3. Rosters & Substitutes. You cannot sub for a team if you are starting for another. This rule applies to alts as well. You cannot start for a team on one team and sub for another team on an alt. This also applies to shared accounts. You can sub for a team on another account so long as you are listed on the roster for the team you are subbing with your main account. If you sub for one team and start for another, both teams will be credited with a loss for that week. You are only allowed 2 subs per match. Rosters must be finalized by March 15th. No changes can be made to the roster after this date. Any player taking part in official matches after this date that does not appear on the team’s roster will result in that team forfeiting the match. 4. Party Packs. The use of party packs is permitted. 5. Glitched or Disconnected Players. If a member of a group glitches or disconnects within the first 2 minutes of a match, the match will be restarted. If it happens the second time the match will be counted as a forfeit. If a member of a group glitches or disconnects after the 2 minute mark, the match will continue until it is over. 6. Only Two Teams per League Allowed to Register. 7. Team Setups. Each team will consist of 1 Tank, 1 Controller, 1 DPS, and 2 Healers. Each member must remain in their stance during the entire match. This is the setup for the entire season, play offs and finals. 8. Game Days. Game days are Thursday and Friday. Matches must take place between 4:00 PM PST and 1:00 AM PST. If a team is a no show, it will count as an automatic forfeit. Teams can agree to reschedule, but the match has to take place within the next 48 hours. 9. Arena Map. Matches will take place in the Watchtower 5v5 map. 10. End of Match.* Winning and losing teams must report final score of match for verification. Scores must be reported within 24 hours following the end of the match. See Addendum. 11. Overtime. In the event of a tie, an overtime match must take place within 15 minutes of the end of the tie match. No Party Packs or Utility Belts are allowed in the overtime match. In the event of another tie, matches will continue to take place until there is a winner. 12. Play Offs and Championship. Same rules apply for play offs and championship matches. Matches will be best out of three with the exception of Wildcard matches which remain single elimination. All rules must be strictly adhered to. Any glitching, cheating, or violation of the stated rules will result in automatic loss of the match or suspension from the rest of the season. Any league which does otherwise will be Automatically eliminated. This (For Now) is strictly an Arenas Tournement. Dependent on how successful this is Legends may be implemented at a later date. I hope people are interested since, as most of you know, the USPC server is fairly redundant when it comes to PVP; since most leagues are bored of "Winning all the time" and it becomes boring going against PUGS again an again. Seems interesting enough. But, to be honest, how will you monitor that everyone adhered to the rules during the match? It seems like there has to be an honor-system with something like this. But when we leave that up to the game, we end up running into macro'ers and the like because they know we're going to trust them if they say they don't break the rules.
Yes, this has been a reoccurring topic, and I am currently in the process of speaking to SOE to see if they're able to help me monitor the sessions. Also before each match I'll be personally speaking to each league to ensure they're FULLY aware of the rules. I recently spoke to Kills4kisses, and they enlightened me on the fact that by making too many rules it encourages those to disobey them, that's why I'm becoming more lenient, and putting restrictions on things I can detect, and which I deem unnecessary to be in a PVP match. Tactical Mods are allowed, no pets, no orbital strikes e.t.c. But I won't put restrictions on things I believe people had to "earn" since this seems unfair, and if a league doesn't have these things it's their fault. Leagues will have to be sensible on the players they put foward.
I am all for this, I would love to join however im on the USPS3. But one thing I noticed that I don't agree with is stating what role the team need to be and how many. I mean, if a team wants to go in all dps let em, they have damage advantage but no power or heals etc.. If they want three healers, and we go in with three trollers, its their fault. There are so many tactics in pvp you strip away by limiting roles. Thats just my opinion but love what your doing, two thumbs up. Hope it goes well.

Game day. Can you add Sat or Sunday into the gameday mix? Myself and other leaguemates of mine can only pvp/are only available during the weekends.

So is this waiting for Arranged Matchmaking to begin as well or is there an update to the start date. Also did Fami put in a roster or 2 yet? If not I'll get that info this week as don't want to miss a chance to support this event.
Yes, the deadline has been extended due to Arranged Matchmaking but also, Superpatriot's own Olympus Games which my tournament may bind with to make it a universal tournament on all platforms; that's why I can't give a date yet since I'm still sorting that out; Megan Fox from Fami has given me the two rosters, and I have those on record, but I may soon (if Superpatriot allows me) have an application form on his website, where all leagues can simply access to apply. I'll keep you all posted.
