There are names in my bases list that I have no idea how they got there. And what is the purpose of this list?
It means your friends and leaguemates have chosen to give you permission to see an enter their lairs. Without that list you would never be allowed to perceive their lair entrances and you would not be allowed to enter their lairs. Likely some may have chosen to share amenities within as well, so conceivably you could access their soder vendors, make repairs, check your mail, etc.
