I'm just curious as its rare that the test server goes down for more than a few hours at a time. Even with regular game updates it usually (at most) takes about 8 hours. Im hoping that the increased downtime is to accommodate atomic mechanics, animations, etc. Being implemented. From what I can figure it would only make sense. For a power that has been so highly requested for so long, it would be a good idea to include as much player feedback as possible. This may be wishful thinking but I really hope that this happens! I've been waiting for atomic for so long!
Don't they normally do a livestream preview first, and add to test the following day? As much as everyone wants this power now, don't get your hopes up today.
It wouldn't surprise me if they're loading the files, but I doubt they'll flip the switch without some serious buildup, livestream previews, etc. Might be sooner rather than later, though.
