None of this affects people with low SP. All of the TC supporters are people like yourself who have thousands of feats to complete and could care less if any additional feats or progression was tied to Time Capsules.
I said it in a previous thread, but simply don't buy them using any other form of currency aside from in-game cash. This has got to stop...
None of this affects anyone except those who are greedy and just have to have everything now. You would be one of them. Get rid of the option to buy stabilizers and be done with it so all the cry babies complaining about p2w can earn them like those of us who haven't bought a single thing.
That's not quite true. It also affects those of us who really only wanted ONE thing. For example, my main has a strongly phoenix-related background (nothing to do with the character from that OTHER comic company), so I really wanted the phoenix material for him. After all the money I spent, I ended up having both the Hades helm and the Zeus amulet, but I would have traded them in an instant for that material.
Now see, the materials thing I can somewhat agree with. Since the last material I have been one of those who said put it in the market place.

LOL That's because it's RNG on top of RNG and lock on top of another RNG. You see the time capsule itself is one RNG, u either get a provision box or gear box or emblem box or many other bullSh*T, then inside of one of these boxes will be another RNG to determine what you get inside of the boxes. Then the last RNG is the rarity of everything. I know that Lottery is not something every can win but there's only one level to it. The time capsule here has 3 level to it. So if anyone wanna buy stabilizers, i suggest you save your money and go to apple store and Best Buy to get something more real instead of these sick virtual stuff. Heck I'll rather spend $100 on real lottery than on these fake stabilizers.
I am going to laugh when the day comes when DCUO decides to close up shop, because everyone was crying about spending money on the game, which in fact is probably what keeps the game going and they no longer have revenue to keep the game going, due to crying whining children.. its just a game people. if you don't like their ideas.. don't play and the select few that are whining, believe me your contributions to this game are not the only revenue keeping this game afloat.
I give my contribution each month with my legendary. If it is not enough for them, not my problem. It is on them. They don't force me to spend too and I don't approve those boxes. My sub is enough. I don't really want to spend more on a casino, that's not what i want to play. But i agree this is a bad move from them. I won't spend anything for those boxes.
If I wanted to spend money on a casino or lottery ticket, I'd go down the road and buy/play the real things and win real money...not something that will be gone within 2 years at the rate this game is going.
That seems a bit unfair, don't you think? I (like many others) have got no objection to spending a bit of extra money to play this game for things off the market place like swag bags or booster bundles which you get what you pay for. But c'mon man, sure you can see the fundamental problem with these time capsules? Even as a member (without spending money on stabilisers) it takes 3 days to earn a stabiliser, at which point you've banked up at the very least 20 odd time capsules. The likelihood of anything decent dropping from it is not very good. People will spend the money on the game with no complaint if they actually get what they're after but they're currently drowning the game in time capsules. Best solution: lower the rate of TC drops, increase the odds of rare items to drop.
After getting ***** last month on Amazon Capsules spending over 100 dollars no Phoenix Material. All my stuff sold for an average of 300 in broker. Shameful! The previous capsules spent 90 bucks not one thing completed. What a joke. I'm done spending money. I'm Legendary since the day this came out. NEVER left spent all my extra cash prior to this in marketplace on everything All styles, auras, weapons, tshirts,skins, boosters ( no cosmic or Solaris in there either) , badges and this is how I get treated. Totally sucks. I would have gladly spent 20 bucks in marketplace for any aura or skin but no we get 100 dollared not Nickled and dimed. By the way I know players who spent 130-150 still didn't get Material.
You are the perfect example of my previous comments... this should be breaking point for the developers to pull their heads out and listen, before the game loses all credibility.
I would have thought that too. Seen so many negative posts about this. I was too busy with college to post. But now I can't stay silent no more. The brokers broke people want triple digits for one item. I refuse to grind for one hundred million plus and have No game time cause I'm too busy trying to farm to sell to get Phoenix Material
I was hoping for the time capsule material to have looked like the people you have to rescue in the Anti-Matter Invasion Zone
It's already an absurd to spend over 50 dollars in game. You should just put all that stuff in the Marketplace but no, prefer to force the players to spend over 100 dollars in a ridiculous RNG system that don't guarantee nothing. Or give a x amount of stabilizers FREE for subscribers every month or put the auras, symbols and materials in the Marketplace.
