DPS Tips

A lot of people ask me do I have any tips or advice for them to become a better dps....well in fact i have a few rules and i'll post them all below.

Rule #1- Never pick up another dps. In the event a dps does go down drop a supply drop on him and get as much damage in before some one comes to pick him up. If they ask why didn't you get him say "I thought you had him so i dropped the supply drop on him so when he gets up he gets a fast heal".

Rule #2- Aways blame the tank no matter what happens. If your not getting heals or power its still the tanks fault.

Rule #3- Do not play any objective thats time away from dpsing.

Rule #4- Always run ahead of the group to get in that dps before anyone else. If you die refer back to Rule #2.

Rule #5- Make fake call outs like "block" to interrupt what the other dps are doing.

Rule #6- Dps's do not block or move the healer is supposed to heal you through everything and if he doesn't refer back to Rule #2.

Rule #7- The most important rule of all. If someone beats you in DPS and you've abided by all the rules above come to the forums and cry that power is "OP' and demand it gets nerfed.

Well those are some of my rules I hope they help you out. Also if you spec more dom it makes your dots last longer.

But what happens if #7 occurs and you are the same power as that person?

Then they must be glitching or speed hacking.

Rule #2

Then that person is hacking the game, submit a ticket to support.

Now I know what I've been doing wrong! Thank you for the help! I always thought I was last on the scoreboard because of my weak power sets. Now I can be number 1 again! (Oh ... remember the days of NGN...).

Don't forget to drop your orbital if you hear someone else drop it. You gotta overwrite that ****

Yes I see you got it right, some DPS seem to get rule #2 wrong. They blaim the healer. Hope they read this and get it right next time lol

Would like to add:

If aggo'd, kite your attackers toward your dps competitors.

In addition, always dps behind another dps. Use them as a meat shield.

Yes ladies and gentlemen, with these tips you too can become like crappy.

Area of effects increase your crit chance and your crit damage, so next time one pops don't move.
