USPC Test Scrims

We run a 3v3 yday but I don't think anyone recorded it.

Setting:

4v4 Map (Temple)
100 CR, Precision VI Expert Mods

Wonderp, Gadgets Troller
Carkus, Atomic Dps
Kody, Sorcery Healer
Vs
Karasawa, Gadgets Troller
My PlayGround, Ice Dps
Souls, Sorcery Healer

It was a lot of fun, and pretty balanced, I was really drunk so I didnt gather much more info (Sorry..), It is painfully obvious tho that HB Power Discharge needs addressing.
It being changed to a single target will definetly make the game a little better imo.

I know you guys started mixing in Tanks, can I get an idea of what loadouts they're using? and are they specced dps?

Another thing worth mentioning:

My initial reaction towards the "50%" (In practice more like 75% ) damage reduction off of Counters was that it may be too much.

After running a few 1v1 scrims, as well as 3v3, I feel like in practice this amount is pretty balanced !

Dps was sufficient but not overbearing, with Finishers doing their job, and an actual medium-long interaction required to get a knockout (3-4 Counters in a 1v1).

Starting to think we should leave Counter Damage as is.. Just saying o:

I got 3 recordings of 5v5 matches from last night that I will post shortly once they are all uploaded (I was just to tired last night to get them all edited and put up).

I want to thank everyone for coming out to do the testing but I want to give a special thanks to YaYa, Kuru, and Pars from Playstation side taking the time to come on Test and play with us.

I wanna reiterate what Brice said. We really appreciate you guys coming on and helping. Clutch and I were pretty shitfaced last night so I apologize if we were rambling on.

I know some of the PS guys are a bit nervous that the USPC guys are going to use these scrims to "expose" or just embarrass them on video but I absolutely guarantee you guys that we're never going do any of that while testing.

If anyone from our side does this we'll just remove them from playing with us. End of story. We're only here to test. Big props to Pars and YaYa again for coming.

I'm thinking dos Anjos over Cowboy (as much as I like the dude), I've never seen anybody work Pettis like that. Gotta give it to him, I'm rooting for Cowboy though.

I COMPLETELY forgot this event was on tonight. So yeah I will be on after it.

Is HL the only power with a single target am? And if so, you all don't think that's op for only 1 power to have good single target dps in a game with screen blocking is a strategy?

Nope. AM in general really isn't that much of a factor anymore. It's not giving power back, and it's not doing abnormal damage. HL was strong before AM came to be, but it's not unstoppable, at least in group fights.

And screenblocking is usually meant for counters, not powers. And since power discharge is still an AoE block breaker, Trollers and Healers use it when they wanna keep pressure on the DPS.

Finally got the videos edited and uploaded. Worth noting I am not talking to myself in the videos. lol. I need to change my recording settings as only my speaker's sound and mic is picked up, which means all you can hear is the music, in game sounds, and my voice when I respond to TS. Here are the videos.

Interesting to see an Earth Tank in action (we tried it the night before last but this one was a surprise as we didn't expect Kuru to rock Earth Tank...but it worked.)

In this one Kuru agreed to go to DPS so both groups matched role wise.

In the final scrim of the night for me, Kuru dropped and Roy took his spot and Holy dropped from our team and Shaulim replaced him. I also felt that power was normally not to big of a issue in the previous scrims so I sacrificed a bit of Vit and went with Vit/Precision gear to help increase pressure on the opposing team.
