I got contradictory information from a CS ticket.

Currently on my computer the Launchpad overwrites game folders and breaks things often.

When I switch games I have to repair the install path every time.

Dragon Prophet and Planet Side Two are the worst.

It is really kind of sad from where I see it; once upon a time I played SWG for hours with out much hang ups. Now it is hassle to get EverQuest and DCUO to run.

Yeah and the directory seems to jumble up Launchpad files before the folders are even created.

I have been told so many different things about Launchpad I am not sure what is true anymore.

Sounds to me like you're trying to make it do things it doesn't want to.

You aren't trying to use the old unified launcher, are you? As far as I know that's obsolete. Each game has it's own launcher.

the Launchpad directory dumps a lot of files right on top before you can pick a folder for each game.

is sony having with ingame petition and website petition ?? because I cannot open either...any thoughts ?

Most the games should have a hot key that opens the help menu.

You can also open the web page for Knowledge Base and put a ticket there.

I use the forums because of the knowledge that players share also.

Launchpad is a more of challenge than I care for.

EverQuest is fun Launchpad is not soe much fun.

Does Launchpad support more than one game at a time?

From here where I am it looks like Launchpad is broken very broken; BROKEN so badly I can only play one SOE game with out a session of install and repairs.

When I take the time to write that Launchpad is BROKEN and I have to repair the game install for game I change that is bad news.

Launchpad is bad news.

Launchpad is not fun it is broken; it is not normal to repair the install path when you decide to change games.

icons for EverQuest changed to icons for Vanguard?

updated PS2 and do not have a PS2 icon on my Windows desktop,

right now, I have the old generic Launchpad icon on the desk top, how did that appear again?

the old icon will start PS2, is that kind of odd or what?

Two updates from Microsoft Windows failed today and have not found a solution all day.

OK an update about update! To get Microsoft Windows to update I have to reset the settings in the update panel.

Windows is a beast and I am curious how many folks have these kind of updates set to auto and never notice the defects.

The major effect I notice when the updates fail is related to time stamps used by the servers; that is my guess.

Adobe update is always WEAK.

Trouble with IE 11 and Adobe this week.

ADOBE Flash player is dangerous garbage.

Adobe Flash is menace to good order.
