Hi all! After getting the Auraxium medal for the SVA-88 I decided to use this more long range LMG for my VS and the fotage in this video is from the first 200 kills I got with it. I have also decied to replace the HVA and I'm currently use soft point even though in this video, I still have the HVA attached.
what graphics do you have I cant get it to look that bad even when i put it on lowest.. Do I have to lower screen resulotion?
Hi, I have over 2200 kills with the Flare and continue to use it over the Orion so you might want to listen to me about how to use this gun. First of all, ditch the grip and the HVA and run the following: SPA, 1-2x, Comp, Ex. Mags. Next, aim for the heart and the gun will naturally kick to the head by the third or fourth shot which should guarantee you a head shot kill. Third, the Flare is not a long range gun so you should never use it as such. The long range LMG's for VS are the Polaris and Ursa while the two close range LMG's for VS are the Orion and Flare.
Thanks for the advise but I think I will stick to my own decisions. I found this gun to be better at range than the other vs LMGs I've used.
I personally find the Flare to be extremely versatile. It's got good TTK at all ranges. I really do recommend Extended mags though. The reload is longer than most if I recall right, and 150 rounds on a VS LMG is rather unique AND useful.
The weapon really shines on it's attachments alone, given that it isn't actually a good gun all by itself. As it has that much choice, everyone's experience will probably vary. I wouldn't touch it with a stick, but some like it. Nice video though.
Thanks for the advise, I've heard that it's supposed to be terrible though. Maybe I will check it out later
The Flare was the first LMG I auraxiumed. I used to love it. I guess I still love it but I just don't use it any more. Back then it was before the LMG nerfs and a better gun. I would defiantly use SPA over HVA. It helps compensate for the lower ROF at closer ranges. I hope you do well with this gun, simply as I can't wait to see your take on the Betelgeuse.
