I would agree for a button (vehicles have special buttons as well) for a vision mode. Upgrade what you like; - Advanced Info, showing enemy class, shields, ability-energy, and proximity Radar - IR Scope, Like vehicles - Thermal Scope, to hunt through walls (allow spotting/radar?) - Targeting AI, shows how much to lead to hit a vehicle with AV, and highlights them like a lock in progress. Just suggestions.
just as a note, infantry have a tertiary fire button (is there anything that actualy uses this?), as well as a weapon mode button (b by defualt), neither of witch are used by maxs (or realy can be used by maxes intuitively with the left arm/right arm mechanic), so they could easily work as a vision togle button for maxs
The toggle attachment key could also work as well. I agree with everyone that MAX really does need something to set it's gameplay further apart from regular infantries.
Yes, or just a HUD marker showing the impact of our shells. They are almost impossible to see at range.
Aye. The MAX's visual optics could be changable. You could make three options, such as: - Thermal (1/1) - Infrared (1/1) - Zoom (1/5) So that MAX players could choose between the three. Also, it'd been nice if we had a second set to choose from(which did not interfere with our primary optics choice). - Range estimate(shows the range/distance). (1/1) - Shows enemy Shield/HP. (1/1) - Radar. Scans the surrounding area for infantry. Doesn't work vs cloaked Infiltrators. (1/1)
