Yes yes I know its this thread again, I wanted to ask the devs and the community about my hardware and why my FPS is so bad. I can run other games amazingly but I cant seem to run planetside 2 very well. here are the specs Intel Core 2 duo t9600 2.8ghz per core 8gigs of RAM ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4670 1g of dedicated RAM are these not enough?
Ignore the ****post above me, that guy knows nothing but brown-nosing the developers. I can definitely see why you might be having problems with this game. Those specs are fairly bad. Here's something that might be of help to you: 1. In the windows search function, search for "UserOptions.ini" and open that up. 2. Under [Rendering], you should see RenderDistance=(number). Try setting this to 1000. 3. Under [Terrain], you should see RenderFlora=. Set this to "Off". If you've already heard these suggestions elsewhere, then my apologies, and good luck to you.
