I downloaded the game, installed. then whenever I press play it doesnt respond and opens a new tab about the specs needed to play the game, i have all the specs required for the game, i still cant play it? why?

Yeah, i think the problem is your graphics card. Your VAIO has no dedicated graphics card only the integrated from your CPU and thats maybe an "Intel GMA 2000". That will be the problem. You can't change your graphics card. If your IGB is not supported by Planetside2 you can't play it on your VAIO. :\
Welcome to the world of computers, where new software surpasses old hardware and thus people are motivated to upgrade their equipment. Laptops are much harder to update than desktops. If you had one of the first Sony computers sold, would you expect to be able to play this game? And to answer the question forming in your young mind, no, you can't buy a USB videocard, upgrade your ram or hard drive and expect this game to work. Also to edit; my much older sony viao does play the game OK, even if only at low. You must have made the wrong choice with your videocard with that machine, as it has my specs beat in processor and ram speed by far.
This thread was no help, i fixed the game by myself, I went to Intel and downloaded some HD Graphic Cards and rebooted my pc, the time i ran it, it ran just well. People Out there, Just try to fix it, its easy. Waste a bit of your time and believe you can fix it, it will work trust me, I'm not trying to say not to listen to these supports, but still if then say you cant just try harder and own them. Thank you!
