I'm highly unlikely to overclock a great deal, if at all, so really either processor will work for me. Definitely going to ask for the store's recommendation so I'll end up with whichever they suggest! I've just tested out PS2 on my dad's PC which is an early-model i7. The one I'm getting is oh-so-slightly better than his, and PS2 runs like a dream on his machine. Not perfect, but compared to what I've got on my own machine - definitely like a dream. So looking forwards to getting my parts bought and installed. It's a shame I'm having to spend £250 or so just to play Planetside, but I suppose it would have needed doing eventually anyway.
