During the Fortification update AV knives were changed to no longer damage construction objects. This change however did not extend to the construction turrets, which can still be damaged using an AV knife, but instead extended to the dev built base turrets, like the ones on the walls at AMP Stations. This is likely because someone got the name for the construction turrets mixed up with the name for the other turrets when recoding the AV knives.
