Can I get a clear explaination on what this ∞ means when buying camouflages (Seen here) On both camos it says "All factions can use this gear" but one has an infinity symbol on it, does this mean the Dry lake camo is "one use" while the Esamir Snow Camo has unlimited uses?
All camos are unlimited use. Not certain on the symbol but my guess is a hold over from some earlier patch/ release that didn't get removed.
As part of an old PS2 event, World Domination Series, those who contributed were given rewards such as experience boosts, camos etc. However the camos you'd win were one-time use. The infinity symbol represented the difference between a one-time use and an unlimited use camo. All the one-time use camos have since between removed though.
there are two types of camo: Event rewards (single use, could be bought for 50 DGC a long time ago) and bought camo's (infinite). Single use camo's are applied to ONE slot on ONE loadout on ONE character. You can put it on your LMG on loadout slot 1 on your NC character, then the one use camo is gone. ONLY slot 1 on that NC character's LMG will have the camo as equippable option. You can still change it to a new camo; the single use camo will remain available ONLY to that one slot. Infinite camo's - the only ones you can get now - can be applied to any loadout and slot anytime without any repercussions. All camo's you buy are infinite use.
