    One question OP....

    Why bother?

Just duel boot windows like everyone else and play your games there.... Jebuz! ;-)

How should I install my graphic card drivers into PlayOnLinux? I think this should help if I knew how to do it...
Here's some information I got about my Graphic Cards:
    description: VGA compatible controller
product: Tonga PRO [Radeon R9 285/380]

    physical id: 0

    version: f1
    width: 64 bits
    clock: 33MHz
capabilities: pm pciexpress msi vga_controller bus_master cap_list rom
    configuration: driver=amdgpu latency=0
    resources: irq:33 memory:c0000000-cfffffff memory:d0000000-d01fffff ioport:e000(size=256) memory:dfe00000-dfe3ffff memory:dfe40000-dfe5ffff

The reason is simple. Why dual boot windows just for a game? You made me think for a bit, but this is better. Safer too

I just reinstalled the game and it said DirectX failed to install...could that have an effect on it?

THAT'S THE PROBLEM. Planetside can't run well on OpenGL, it's made for DirectX 11! So the crashes happen probably because you don't have a full workable Linux DirectX! I guess.

    Directx 9 actually.
  7. Madogdog

Ok. So how do I install directx 9 into my virtual playonlinux drive?

Why don't you just buy windows 10 your putting duct tape on duct tape you have spent hundreds of dollars on a system BTW if you want to play future games you will need direct X 10. No windows 10 no direct X 10 just get the right equipment for the right job.

Because the game isn't designed to work in Linux....? Hence duel boot FTW!

I tried installing gdirectx9 on POL but now PS2 broke. How do you uninstall additional software from a virtual drive?
