Crash to desktop after todays patch (2015/02/25)

Getting consistent CTD (crash to desktop) after patch install. Happened four times in a row now. Goes to 94%, stays there for a bit then CTD. Will edit this post if I find any logs, etc (I am launching from Steam but im pretty sure that doesn't make a difference edit: tried launching directly and got same crash)

Exactly the same problem here. Initial loading screen goes to 94% then Crash to Desktop. 3 times in a row.

having the same issue tried all of the usual fixes cant get in.

same thing happening to me even though I was playing about 10 minutes ago restarted computer and now CTD at 94%

Same here, two 94% CTD's, first time I've ever experienced this issue. Downloaded the update that is supposed to be "Transparent" to the clients and now can't play .

Don't bother with a reinstal
Should be fixed tomorow or the day after and reinstalling will only waste your time.
The issue probably comes from their servers.

This 94% CTD crash only started happened after today's patch. It's pretty obvious that a hotfix or a server adjustment needs to be looked into immediately. Hopefully someone from DayBreak can confirm that it's being worked on... please?

I've disabled all the usual apps and services to minimize resources. I've already tried to "validate" the files, without any improvement.

I'm going to update my video drivers in the meantime, FWIW.

Ok, I'm not crazy.
Same here, was playing for 2 hours, went to eat.
Came back, unable to start the game anymore.
Go to desktop at 94%.
I don't remember seeing an update though.

Forgot to say that, I did re-install the game...

Downloaded the update earlier and was able to play right away. Took a break for dinner and have the same problem now. DB will figure out what they did this time eventually.

Since I can't edit my original post. it looks like this is not neccesarily related to the patch since many ppl are reporting installing the patch and playing fine. So its prob server side
