The Gatekeeper isn't a lasher though. The Gatekeeper also can't resupply from engineer packs, the gatekeeper costs 450-250 resources, and suffers from a lack of mobility.

It is horrendous against infantry. If you dont get direct hits, you may as well not be shooting at them.

The reason is because VS is so intent on getting the GK nerfed that they have resorted to drawing links with it to the PPA. Notwithstanding the fact that it is a f***ing stupid idea to conpare a AV weapon to an AI weapon in terms of infantry killing potential, they are ignorant to the fact that the GK has close to zero infantry capabilities because of its high degree of specialisation toward long range AV combat.

And before someone says the GK's infantry killijg power is too good, may I remind you that direct hits can kill ANYTHING in this game...?

Do you need to lie to try to prove your point? The Harasser is 150 resources, you can drive easily to any ammo tower, Sunderer, or Galaxies now to resupply, the Prowler is the fastest MBT in the game short of Magrider's limited turbos.

Yes, which is in another neighboring base, and requires people to pull Sunderers or Galaxies with ammo. Which happens less than you might think.

Yes, because 10MPH quicker is a noticeable difference, and suffers from slippery hill syndrome. Meanwhile the swagrider glides right over everything and isn't stopped by a short hill.

I suppose it's arguable, but if only one of them can, then it's still a balance problem. Theoretically, the Gatekeeper could be balanced by buffing the Enforcer and Saron against infantry at range, if you could get the community to swallow that.

Considering how the Enforcer & Saron are both Long range AV, they should be better at being long range AV velocity/drop wise.

As an Infil, I was taken out by a Gatekeeper firing from the Crown... I was at TI Alloys, in the tree close to the Spawn room. After the first shot hit, I ran, it killed me before I managed to get off the branch.

I was at the crown on top when a gatekeeper killed me from mordor. I ran but to late i died

Sounds to me like you got client sided. The widest tree branch in the game I've ever perched on would take a fraction of a second to jump off.
I've been killed by 2 body shots from an smg before. At least that's what I saw and felt on my screen. Doesn't mean the smg had bolt action damage though.
Also, I guarantee that plenty of people have been shot out of trees by sarons and enforcers also.

The Gatekeeper is usable against infantry, but it's definitely worse than the Halberd at close range. At longer range, the Gatekeeper is pretty awful against infantry, although it still isn't terrible against MAX suits.
