Quick update on this, I was getting the freeze ups on a very regular basis, duration 2 to 3 seconds but no rhyme nor reason as to when, however, they've all but gone now. All I did was change a setting on NVidia control panel, and instead of 'performance' I've re-selected 'let 3d app decide'. It's worked for me on my meagre set up, don't know if it helps anybody else out but thought I'd give it a mention.
Funny, after the great patch that ruined performance for me and many others. I actually can't get stable frames unless i open taskmanager and KILL all my graphics drivers... They just add more lag and unstability at this point. And yes ive tried rolling them back and making sure they are proper
