Why K/D Doesnt matter..

K/D only matters if you want it to matter for you, same as XP/hour, assists or whatever.
For your fun the stats you want to matter, matter.

The only thing that matters for the game is who controls the capture points. Nothing else.

Characters don't matter.Not when you have the best weapon and the best armor and you can be killed in less than 2 seconds by someone you don't see or have a chance to respond to.

K/D is useful as a metric only when comparing yourself to yourself. It tells you how well you're doing given your play style. If you're playing the same way you always do and your K/D isn't improving, then you're not learning or getting better.*

*This applies only if what matters to you is getting kills and not things like healing and repairing.
