I just had an epiphany

The only differences between the normal servers and the test server:

1) The test servers have the latest development
2) You have 100,000 free certs on the test server, so you don't have to grind or pay real money for it

...but everyone plays on the normal server.

True.

No one plays on the test server because everyone plays on the live servers.

Everyone plays on the live servers because no one plays on the test server.

People like progression.

People don't like having to download the game twice.

I'll stick to the live servers over the bughole.

If test server was populated, I'd totally play there instead.

100k free certs on new characters? **** yeah!

New **** more often? HELL YEAH!!

Some bugs? BFD, live is riddled with em anyways

From this I formulate the resolution: we must lock the normal servers from time to time to force people off of them onto the test servers.

some off us do actually test stuff and try to help out ware we can
if u want something buy it and support the game

i do not mind if u play for free, not buying anything
its just like freeloaders like some people responding here that wants everything for free

one off the best games totally for free not have to pay anything and have access to everything accept for cosmetics

I believe the test server is west coast US.

I live in the UK. You can see how this might be an issue.

It'd be interesting to see how the devs react if the test server became the default for most people.

Yeah. You'll get a group together to actually test something and some punk comes along and kills your sundies.

This isn't some random sundy in a random base where 2 guys are dueling.
I'm a tower certing my aircrafts and I see 1 or 2 sundies rolling up. They get out and start capping the base. I just cannot imagine what they are trying to do.

I used to be a troll on the test though. I've stopped doing most of it and I just duel now.

There's also no stat tracking and stat whoring on the test server, let's go there.

Merge servers, broken patch, lower pop, repeat.

We're heading towards two or even one server anyways..... If everyone played on the test server it'd just be as hitchy as the live. It would just get worse as it filled, same as live.
