Recon drone is going to be consumable so I think it might not be possible

Recon drones is going to be just... nothing. It belongs to the list of items they developed but never pushed to live server like the Max granade launcher, the flamethrower, the domeshield, the Icarus jumpjet, and probably the ANT.
Hours of development and tons of good ideas thrown away.

Recon Drone confirmed still in development by Higgy. Will be a consumable available to all classes.

Hopefully you can surf on it like the MAV, at least for a little while

hmm what if it WAS a plane for ANTs...

Only ANT vehicles can deploy/control it.

Would give a reason to pull ANTs aside from refueling bases. Would give them a dual purpose. People would actually cert into them.

During the brief moment the drone was on PTS, there was no weight limit to how much C4 could be stuck on the drone. I hope it stays that way. It will be the most fun/annoying item we have ever been given.

We read this... when? 9 months ago? I doubt it is going to happen, on pts it was basically ready for the Infiltrator class but it disappeared as they created the recon beacon. Then what kind of consumable is it supposed to be? Something to put in the Utility Slot to replace medikits or c4?
