Chimera is an outfit on Cobalt known for fighting hard and fiercely. We involve ourselves in all forms of combat ranging from simply playing as infantry, to pulling armor or even aircraft should the need arise.
Most of our members are very experienced players with more than a month spent in game and because of this we are currently looking for players who are able to keep up with an experienced group.
    Here's our PSU playerlist: http://www.planetside-universe.com/...ard&sortfield=experience_score&sortorder=desc

What we look for in new recruits:

    - Good discipline in teamspeak. We joke around often, but it's important for people to know when it's to stay quiet so everyone can focus on the objective. Radio discipline is different in the heat combat than it is when we just cleared a base.
    - Experienced infantry player. Every member should be able to rely on each other when fighting on the ground. We often fight in tight spots, heavily outnumbered and for this reason things like situational awareness, good movement and being able to land those headshots are important.
    - Activity in teamspeak. Point of the outfit is to play together, and that usually works best when people are on teamspeak.
    - Able to follow orders. If the squad leader tells you to redeploy so we can drop on that sweet beacon and save the base, you should do that.
    - You should try focus most of your playing to the EU evening times. That's when we run most of our organized operations. We play plenty outside of that time , but we try have as many people online in the evening as possible.

Microphone is not required, but if you don't have it or for some reason don't want to talk, you should compensate by being a beastly infantry player. A player who dies all the time and doesn't call out targets is not something we're especially in need of.

We are also interested in experienced mossie pilots. If you want to have a more meaningful experience when flying, why not join us and hit waypoint-marked targets, escort liberators and fly in an air squad?

New players in the outfit gain the "recruit" rank, and have a trial period with a length determined by the players activity, comm discipline and overall skill in-game. We have to see what the player has to offer to the team before we fully accept them into the outfit.
If a recruit orives his worth to everyone within a matter of days, promotion happens quickly. Recruit status can last for quite some time though if the player rarely plays with us or hasn't convinced us yet that he/she should be a full member.

Joining the outfit will result in increased amount of spawn options in beacons and sunderers, amazing fights and multiple 0-second base secures.
Whether you join us or not...see you on the battlefield!

Chimera's where it gets real. If you think you got the skills and can dedicate the time for it, do yourself a favour and join the fiercest outfit on Cobalt.

    CHI gets my vote.
  6. ShadowManiac

  7. Kociboss

    So CHI is still alive?
  8. Hogfoot

TBH I don't know. As per of May the 24th at the least, judging by above bump - and I know I've seen the tag after the summer.

If Chimera's still active, I'd expect them to post in this thread.
  9. Rachitynowy

Nope, they joined with some guys and formed a eee... Worst Case Scenario or something like that. Their tag is TWSC now. This tread is dead now.
  10. Paralyzedwardog

Are they actually inactive? cause there still is a lot of members in their outfit?
  11. Hogfoot

    Thanks for the update.

R.I.P. [CHI] , most badass outfit I ever gamed with.
  12. SirIBON

    Thanks for the polite honor.

Its true a lot of active Members create "The Worst Case Scenario" in cooperation with the Outfit originalknown as "1by1".
Many not daily active Members stay in CHI.
So be warned, we are at the moment not as active as usual, but still alive.

The Winter is coming, so be prepared :)

[I am a Chimeran, but not a designated speaker for the Outfit.]

If possible i would like to join Chimera. Looks like an outfit with focus on skill and that's something i look for. I'm just getting back into PS2 after a significant break (quit playing around the introduction of lattice), but have gone from BR86 to BR95 during the last couple of weeks so im well into the game and the new changes. I was in the outfit TTRO when i left, and i still am, but this outfit just doesnt meet my standards anymore and i would like to try something else. My ingame name i DragnSlay, but dont mind that. Started my TR out as a troll character that soon grew into my main, so im kinda stuck with the name...
