Directives didnt count all my kills

None of my LMG kills or HA stats were adjusted with the switch. I started at the bottom of tier one.

HA is my second most used class other than Engi. Yet I got quite a bit of Medic directives despite the fact that I rarely use that class.

So I'm really confused as to the methodology in assigning data.

You have to kill other Light Assault players.

Amusing because MAX specialists can pull them more or less nonstop now.

Yeah.. but so can every other chumpanzee.
Which means I'm probably going to see my favourite class nerfed yet again, instead of an intelligent resource funnel system.

Read SevenTwo's posts, because he sums it up pretty well. While the game explicitly recorded kills and gave ownership to the weapon (medals/ribbons), they didn't explicitly give ownership to the vehicle spot or the vehicle/class itself. The game didn't have any reason to record that data, before now.

In some cases, they could probably have correlated things like that and found a way to have them count. But you'd still have issues such as class ownership for something like the kills from SMG's, Shotguns, or Carbines that could not be cleanly done since those weapons are shared by two or more classes.

But for the cases where you could logically give ownership(AR's for medic, top guns for tanks, LMG kills for heavy, etc), I can't tell you why they didn't. I won't speculate as to why either.

With 3 medic guns auraxiumed you'd expect the game to at least realise that you should have at least 3000 kills with the class, but when I logged in today I was at silver tier and the only things that are done are my healing and revive ribbons. Had everything been retroactive I would already have the auraxium tier done, there's no doubt about that. But I guess I'll have to get a bunch of kills, savior kills and shielding ribbons AGAIN to get it.

Do you mean the first objective under "Kills" or do you mean the sixth one "Light Assault kills" ?

If the former, then yes, that means it's bugged. Because that objective counts all kills as said class while not in a vehicle. Regardless of whether that same kill counts towards another objective.

But if you're talking about the latter (sixth on list), that means you have to literally kill other people while they're playing Light Assault. Not simply getting kills as a light assault. Same with infiltrator, medic, and max. (heavy assault switches this up and has you hunting maxes instead) It basically wants you to hunt down your own class for that one.
