I went into my user option and set my sensitivity down to .80 but now my yaw is about 1/3 the speed of my keyboard input joystick are worthless in this game if you want to dog fight.
I got fed up of being unable to dogfight with a mouse and tried using my joystick. Having the same problems as everyone here, joystick is WAY TOO SENSITIVE. Additionally, I noticed another problem, when using joystick, motions seem to gain a huge amount of 'inertia'; what I mean is, if you're rolling with the mouse, and you let go, it stops rolling almost immediately. Whereas if you let go with the joystick, it still keeps going and doesn't stop for another 45 degrees. You overshoot EVERYTHING because the craft will start moving instantly but doesn't have the same kind of responsiveness when it comes to stopping motion.
I've got the same problem, and I can't find joystick sensitivity in my UserOptions file. Using a Logitech 3D Pro EDIT: Scratch that, found it. However, now the ingame option refuses to go below 1.00, even if I make useroptions a read only...
