Unable to Play after 3/10 Update

    I was able to play, but dear Lord, my lag was horrible.

    Like, every shot had a 2 second delay horrible.

    I was able to play for the 3/10 'lib' update but the most recent one broke the game for me.

    Now it crashes to desktop after clicking play on the launcher.

    Still not working d*mn near 12 hours later, SoE when do you plan to fix this??

    I retract my prior statement, I can't even boot the test server now, after the update I downloaded this morning.

    My client downloaded 1 patch, and then downloaded another patch before I could launch it, so i must have launched it just after the patch went up (havn't gotten any new patch prompts even after verifying game files)

    Same. Downloaded a patch just now and whenever I press play, it sits there for a bit and doesn't do anything or the launcher just closes.

    I find it very frustrating to see a thread like this, where clearly several people are having an issue, and the only SOE response is "What?? its still not working? but we thought we fixed it". C'mon guys. That is REALLY poor tech support imo.

    Also +1 for having this same problem. Tried reinstalling the PTS client altogether and that didn't even work.

    Can't seem to play either now. I press Play but nothing happens.

    Same for me. Launchpad crashes to desktop.

    I do know there was a windows update last night. Maybe that has something to do with it...

    Went to sleep, 8 hours later I just tried it again after a small little mini patch. Nope, still crashing when clicking play.

    Currently getting the CTD bug as well. I cannot access the Test Server.

    Not working for me either. If I click play it immediately crashes and takes me back to the Launchpad (which doesn't close for whatever reason).

    while the win 8.1 patch was notorious for (censored) up games, a clanmate has win 7 and has the same problem

    This is the first time i was trying to play on the test server, when i finished downloading i clicked "play" and then it said:
    "PlanetSide2.exe has stopped working"

    please help!:(

    I get into the game but I get to the character making screen. Meaning the server is down.

    Another update just went in. I was able to launch the game fine.
