What is the best Medic weapon and LA weapon in the game?

In your humble opinion? I play NC and wonder if anything can compare to the gr 22.

The Carnage is better than the GR22.

In terms of medic weapons they all seem to have a sweet spot for ranges... it basically goes something like:

GR-22 (Short) > Carnage AR (Short-Medium)> Gauss Rifle/S (Medium)> Reaper DMR (Medium-Long)> Gauss Burst (Long)

These are of course generalisations about where I think these weapons perform best based on my experience and I'm sure there are people who will say the GR-22 is an amazing sniper weapon etc. If I had to say which is the best of the bunch I would probably have to say Carnage AR as it sits in a sweet spot between being strong up close while maintaining good performance at medium range but all of them are viable now.

Carnage AR for medic. Versatile and deadly. You can deck it out for any reasonable range. Good reload, 0.75x ads speed, good rof.

For LA - Debatable. People will mention GD-7F and Serpent, others Lynx, Jaguar and Trac-5 and the rest will swear by their T5 AMC, Pulsar C or Mercenary.

After nerf, I would kindly disagree. It's still good but not an all-round powerhouse it used to be.

    Dalton?

    Carnage AR
    Mercenary

That's for all-round effectiveness at various ranges. I choose the higher bullet damage over high RoF for the Carbine because they benefit more from the inherent higher accuracy of 167 tier guns than the already-more-accurate ARs do.

Carnage is like a superior pre-nerfs Jaguar since it's sitting on just the right RoF to avoid the early damage cut off of 800/845 RoF guns and still maintain low enough TTK to be great for CQC.

Having Auraxium medals in half of the LA weapons available your best bet is to start off with the respected Mercenary. Throw a laser sight on it as medium ranged auto fire is controllable enough without the grip and you've got yourself a reliable jack of all trades carbine. NC carbines are weird in that it's very common for people to use medium ranged carbines in CQB and vice versa. With enough fire discipline you can do reasonably well with the ac-x11 when set up for hip firing, for instance.

"Best" is largely down to personal preference.

There are guns which excel in CQC hipfire
There are guns which excel at longer ranged ADS combat
There are guns which are good all-round weapons without specialising or gimping themselves at any range or style.
Some guns are worse on pen-and-paper stats, but just "feel" right when using them. (Saw-S and NS11A for me for examples)

Picking the ones which suit your playstyle and the situations you are in, are the ones you will find "best"

    NC Medic - Gauss Rifle

    NC Light Assault - Mercenary

And if you need something with a bit more firepower for CQC, pick up the Cyclone.
    You won't regret it!
