I'm certainly no computer wiz so I am appealing to the great cyber minds to inform me of the best settings to use. My labtop is a S55-A5275 GT 740m 2gb DDR3 8gig DDR3 I7-4700MQ Operating system is Windows 8 64 I just downloaded 8.1 hoping for improvements >.> The game seems to not operate as smooth as it did before the patch but it's also the same time I downloaded 8.1. Wanted to know what would be the best settings for me. I am willing to go to the lowest graphics but I heard that's not always the best settings.
Depends. Whats your laptops resolution? What framerate are you looking to get out of battle. if its 1366x768 and your ok with 30-50 fps out of battle(hard to pinpoint exactly since I can only make comparisons to similarly powered cards), then turn all settings to ultra except for shadows on low and possibly fog shadows off too. If you have a higher res monitor or want 60 fps out of battle(there will probably be some drops in big fights), turn some settings down obviously.
If you are on 720p it should be really playable (atleast 30-60fps). On 1080p will be too heavy for your laptop, turning down settings is an option though.
