So who is this Higby dude ?

So who is he ? He is often mentioned here but I never seen a post from him ? Kind of a game developer ? And if yes why does he not post in his game forum ?
Twitter was mentioned several times but seriously, who uses that ?

The Phantom of the forums rarely seen outside of it's natural Twitter Habitat. On some occasions the lesser spotted Higby can be found on Reddit or PSU forums.
The Dev Higby though is thought to be extinct on official forums.

He is a scrub.

a tool mostly....yes, he's a game dev, and he specifically avoids his own forums for the fear of having to answer hard questions......he tends to stick to planetside universe and reddit where it's mostly butt kissing all day long.....take note......the most important and pressing issue for planetside2 reddit players today is higby's new haircut.....that's the current #1 story......that alone should speaks volumes of why he stays there.....he gets a pat on the back for just farting over there.

He's the game's creative director. Something like no. 2 (below Smedley) in the chain, as far as this game goes.

The developers use Twitter a lot as it's just a whole lot easier to keep us up-to-date with ideas and development on-the-fly than lugging around a forum-connected tablet everywhere would be.

They're also very active on Reddit, where Sony's customer service and forum policies do not as severely restrict what they can say, or have said to them in response.

Frankly, there's a twitter feed for many developers right here on the main page of the forums, and they are pretty good about posting the major actually-going-to-happen stuff here as well.

To be fair, there's little here of any interest to Higby. This forum is 90% disingenuousness and whining.
