    We are gathered here today, in the presence of the Devs, to join these two servers, Mallory and Ceres, together in eternal war.

    The coming together of servers in any mmo is never a decision to be taken lightly, but reverently, often associated with a failing game, we can rejoice in the knowledge that this time, a merge will make for increased carnage and mucho more joy on the battlefield.

    It is then, with much rejoicing I now pronounce you, Mr and Mrs Ceres.
    You may shoot the Vanu.

    WoW had serve merges, guess its a failing game :-/

    Initial demand is always greater then the stabilized population. Server merges are a common thing across most MMOs.

    Eh... after one year? On the contrary, they still were opening new servers for expansions to come, but WoW really is the anomaly.
