OK, so, I have a GTX 670, i7 3770k, 16gb ram, etc. Really boss system, I usually pull steady 60fps no matter what in this game. Just installed the newest (came out today I think) graphi9cs driver for my 670, and, BAM. 30fps. this feels really laggy for me. I'm not very good to begin with and this is NOT helping.... Suggestions/Solutions...?
Check your settings (vsync off etc) or revert to the old driver. I'm running the new driver on my GTX 460 without problems (so far).
Do you have the default 3D settings in nVidia control panel? If not, try resetting them; I have the same GPU and CPU and had really stuttering experience until I defaulted them. I updated to that same driver version but have no problems. If that doesn't help, try clean driver install (uninstall the drivers completely, restart computer, and install again).
I have essentially the same system and the new drivers did not cause a decrease in performance for me. You didn't turn on PhysX did you?
