After several hours of testing I have concluded that it is very possible to get weapons lock on your own turret after repeatedly knifing said turret to the point of it breaking several times I did after the 4th turret indeed get weapons lock.I hope this is a bug however that is irrelevant since no one would logically kill their turret several times despite the fact that they are probably the most situational tool the engineer has and should quite possibly be removable to allow an engineer to carry both mines and the ammo pack because personally i would trade the turret in a heartbeat for the ammo pack slot based entirely on my play style. I challenge ye to prove me wrong.
yeah just figured that out it has made my life as a kamikaze(no offense) engineer quite a bit more bearable for cert farming
