saw something really weird today

just a few minutes ago, during the esamir alert on mattherson, I helped kill an NC character called PyroWulf.

now, this particular character is my brothers, and he plays on waterson, and his player page says he was last on on may 21.

there are no other characters called 'PyroWulf", yet I saw him, on mattherson, today. I was able to send a few tells to him and everything, but got no replies back.

I am aware there is a title of 'pyro' but that's not what I saw. it was all one word, PyroWulf

what the heck is up with that?

is this proof that SoE uses bots to artificially inflate pop numbers?

That is odd. First check to see if your brother's account was hacked.

It could be that the name was Pyrowu1f and you saw it incorrectly. That or it could have been pyr0wulf or any combo.

If it was a bot, it was either damn good AI or everyone really is just that bad.

Both outcomes are equally terrifying.

Seriously though, you sure it wasn't a VS named Pyrowolf?

The good news:

• There is only one character named PyroWulf
• He is on Waterson
• He has not played since May 23
• The tells you sent to PyroWulf went to PyroWulf on Waterson, but he was not online to receive them

The bad news:

• The last player to die near you before you sent a tell to PyroWulf was named "PorkWaffle"
