Okay. So this was my 4th crash in last 15 minutes. Just crashing to desktop with "Process stoped responding". Thanks for RAW patch again SOE
hey there, was about to open a topic as well... Same problem here - game crashed 4x in 20min now using the 64x Client Another thing Ive noticed is a much heavier load on my CPU as it seems - game getting cpu limited all day long. [ Confirm that please ? ;o ] PC Specs: Game installed on a SSD [ shouldnt be a problem at all but ... ] Processor: i7-4770k running at stock speed [ No need to overclock really... ] GPU: EVGA GTX 770 SC 2GB stock speed as well RAM: 8GB running at 1600Mhz Running Windows 7 prof. 64 bit Edit: Running latest drivers for everything. Game settings: Everything maxed out @ 1920x1080 - Ran around 60-170fps before. cpu / gpu limited After patch: Using 64x client - everything maxed out @ 1920x1080 - <60 fps CPU limited -- Running no other programs beside PS2 [ closed EVERYTHING to make sure its not a compability problem [ didnt expect that anyways ] ] -- If I miss anything tell me Greetings , ZwergenWind
Same.. after playing for 20 minutes, the game freezes and crashes. Thank god I'm not paying for this crap......
Same.... SOE do u have something like a test server? Or is there anyone in your company playing this ****? After every patch we have more and more problems.... really guys is there only a small group of amateurs programing this "game"?? I have really no idea why iam still paying for this crash simulator.
Here is a nice easy workaround for you. 1) Rename the Planetside2_x64.exe to Planetside2_x86.exe 2) Rename the Planetside2_x86.exe to Planetside2_x64.exe You can find these files in the root directory for PS2 That is what I did after my 3rd crash and I haven't crashed since.
Great Maintenance / Patch. My game already used to be ****** up, now its even worse... crashed 8 times in 15mns ! Good job !

-- Cant edit my post anymore so: "Another Edit: The simplest way of fixing those issues for now is to simply make your game use the 32 bit client instead of the 64 bit client - You can do that by renaming your Planetside2_x64 file into Planetside2_x86 - And the other way around. Works fine for me... PS: if anyone else already posted that below - I didnt read any of the comments below [above] so sorry for a possibly "copying" your comment."
My 64-bit client is crashing after about 20 to 40 mins of play too, but my game did seem smoother. The mouse tracking felt a bit better, and my graphics seem a bit smoother. I'm not sure if it is the 64-bit client or just low pop this early in the morning.
Try this. Quoting User101: First you must restart your PC for this update... I have no idea why... it just worked on my machine. If you run Windows 8.0 is a problem you need to do this if it does not start. Installing this fixes the problem. http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=35 Source: https://forums.station.sony.com/ps2/index.php?goto/post&id=2615611#post-2615611 New update is working great for me after I installed DirectX
