The numbers show how OP NC MAX is

    The mercy 143dmge/426RPM 1015DPS burst
    mag: 60=>8580 damages in 8.4 sec + 3 sec reload = 8580 damages in 11.4 sec. =>753DPS average
    The T9 carv/Orion: 143 dmge 750RPM. 1787 DPS burst


    VS max
    The cosmos 167/337RPM 938DPS burst
    mag: 75 =>12525 damages in 11.36 sec + 3.3 sec reload = 12525 damages in 14.66 sec. => 854DPS average
    The EM6/Anchor: 167/600RPM 1670DPS burst

    NC max
    Hacksaw 143x6/300RPM 2190DPS burst
    mag: 7 =>6006 damages in 1.4 sec + 4 sec reload = 6006 damages in 5.4 sec. =>1112DPS average
    Shotguns auto (Nighthawk/piston/pandora) 143x6/300RPM 2190DPS burst.

    NS:Flamethrower:
    150/600RPM 1500DPS (short range i think ;) )
    22500 damages in 18 + 6 sec reload = 22500 damages in 24 sec =937.5 DPS.

    The mag upgrade also works in a better way in the NC side.

    The sad fact is when you look at the road map . They want to give TR lockdown on MAXs . How stupid would you be if you used that ? Didnt play PS1 but it would be useless in this game with as much 6 entrances to some buildings in this game .

    Either NERF the NC MAX or seriously BUFF the other faction MAXs . Its become a complete joke now , and realy makes SOE look bad .

    It really depends on how it is used. Deployed dual bursters could be brutal, and potentially a well protected dual chaingun could be awesome with backup. What matters is what benefits it gives.

    lol are you nuts, being planted to one location removes our straff ability when HA shoot us with rocket launchers.

    So NC max are awsome to reach flags and defend them.
    TR/VS max are good for sitting at medium range.

    Great balance.

    But numbers past 10 meters the scatt max gets owned by TR/VS.

    It may not be, but the only option is to make all MAX weapons the same.

    Or how is making the NC AI weapons worse than TR and VS weapons at ALL RANGES in any way "balanced"? o_O

    Maybe maybe not.

    A dual burster deployed on a roof will make a wonderful mobile gun emplacement. If your up on a roof, conceivably you are someplace where people just can't pelt you with rockets.

    If you plant yourself around a corner in a building where people run into a hall, you just need a nearby engi and you'll be good (Which you should have anyway to get you ammo).

    It could grant greater small arms protection, or it could grant more HP, or it could grant a faster firing rate, or it could grant a greater reload speed... any one of these, if deployed intelligently, could make a wonderful defensive weapon.

    If you park yourself in a field like an idiot, you'll die, but that is the same as it is now.

    Numbers don't mean anything. The only time NC use maxes are in biolabs. In every fight there are hardly any NC maxes. So all those numbers come from biolab grinds. And obviously the scattermax will perform better than the other two when in tight spaces like a biolab. They're on home turf. If we could get numbers that excluded biolabs I'm sure it would paint an entirely different story.

    Scattermaxes don't need a nerf. They're working as intended. They're a short range shotgun, they will ruin your day if they get in range. If any changes are to be made they need to be made to the TR and VS, make them better at range so that they never even have to get close to a scattermax.
