Just realized that you *can* submit. My bad. sorry!

If i get some time over tomorow ill take the p3d model for a spin and see if I can see any bad geo, fresh eyes are always good I think.

That part near the top where the top of the helm and the face section meet feels off centor. Looking at it from the top, it doesn't look like it's actually connected around this point. Also, if you were trying to simulate the eyebros, they aren't translating well with where they're positioned. The yellow under them also doesn't look complete from the side and they don't add much to the frontal profile. Also would be nice if the gap in the face section was removed.

everyone here has great feedback and the are dead on, you really should listen to them. this helmet isnt ready for submission.
you have a lot of twisted polygons and overlapping geo that shouldnt be on an NC helmet. on the back of the side vents there is a weird indent.

Thanks for feedback all! I stepped away from this one for a couple days, and came back. I think i got rid of most of the angled vertex. Hoping I can get away with the "gundam" antennae with the angled top. It does go flat from most angles. reworked the vent sections to be more squarish-beveled. redid all the UV's to cut down on total UV count, and remove stretching. Mesh is perfectly symmetrical outside of eye now. I removed any cuts or edges that offset the geometry. Hopefully this is closer to usable. Please let me know what you think.

Also, If this can be used for any teaching purposes good or bad, I would love that.

Just a few things getting my attention. The front looks great but it doesn't carry over to the profile of the helmet. I see helmets as faces and it looks like it has a big overbite. Perhaps you can make the top part flush with the jawline. Also, from the profile, the star makes it look sad. You can move the start from the right side to the left side and it still works.

Other than those minor details I have nothing else.

really like this one. Dont mind the overbite thing. only thing im thinking is the antennae stuff. if NC had those they might be a bit thicker, there's this weird skewing going on and they look a bit to fragile vs NCs often function driven design?

speaking of the overbite, i could add an eye back and change the name to "The Rabbit". Im kinda serious... Thanks for the eye suggestion Shock, its great. I hear you on the functionality for the antenae. The skewing you see now is a result of me "thickening" the ends to get somewhat what you mentioned. Maybe have some more feedback on those and I will adjust accordingly? I was not sure if they would even work so i didn't push the thickness much. thanks good stuff.

Great geo clean up on this :)

*Ok, Ears, and shapes around the eye had to go. They were too angular and not within the NC profile.

here is the helmet in its natural form =p

I guess you'll have to rename it then ;) but the name sounds cool so maybe not.

referring to the profile .... this is dead on Shock..you gotta make that change

Ok, brought the mouth in and matched similar to picture. Here is p3d.

If I were you I would just drop the "eye", go with a variation like you had on your earlier concepts (http://i.imgur.com/YybrWlM.jpg) or do something like Faven suggested (http://i.imgur.com/JmIITCK.jpg). Having a single lens extruding from a flat visor just doesn't look right somehow.

It's also a bit weird how your visor doesn't mesh with the top of the helmet.

Mabe push side things in more, and pull wing ear things out a bit
