Hey everyone,

Here is my first cut at a harasser part Haha pun intended... its still a work in progress, Im thinking of adding in a few more small details, but I wanted to go ahead and get a preview out to see if I can get somefeed back to make sure Im on track

The Toe Cutter


the bottum right image is the hirez concept model. the rest are the low poly. I might rebuild the blade one more time and add in a few more polys to get a smoother curve...

Cool idea and it would be awesome if it could actually cut some toes. How did you the texture to look so nice there on the edges of the blade?

intentional distortion of the poly's to stretch the UV wrap is my best guess. It looks nice on blades and cloth textures too.

I break the UVs up by edge loops and do a mirror repeat down them if that makes any sence

Very cool. Hopefully there won't be much in the the way of clipping (low to the ground or Mine guard)

since its a blade, even if it clips it will just look like its slicing through something
