It got postponed twice. Now they're "targeting" the 4th of June for season 4, but I wouldn't be surprised if they miss again.
Season 4 will start tuesday. These devs are a monday - friday 9am to 5pm crew, they dont put in any extra overtime,thats why you never see news or updates on the weekends, nor do they ever update in the middle of the night. Every new season has started mid day on tuesday. It has nothing to do with them being ready or not, because they are ready, they just waiting until its convenient with their schedule, even if that means missing deadlines Nobody is moderating these boards over the weekend, you watch come monday, all these "wheres season 4 the devs suck" post will be deleted monday morning
Im not saying only putting in a few hours is a good thing, being a dev it should be a 24hr 365 days a year to keep the game running especially when they are behind schedule, and if theyre not going to make the deadline then they need to put in that overtime to make it. Its so obvious they dont do any work on the weekends i see hate threads on this board towards the devs, that will sit all weekend long until monday when the devs return to work to delete them... Every new season servers shut down at 9 am US pacific standard time on tuesday.
This just cant be real. This must be sort of a bad joke what this Studio does is just out of this world. I hope they sell soon they're Games to someone who knows how to make games, and keep the players happy. The game is so dead, so unplayable thanks to the non existent servers, and its only the fault of daybreak... They had the best opportunity last year to make a great game, bringing them aa lot of money, but these idiots decided to just take the money, and give a **** about the every thing else...
daybreak said they didnt want to have an off season but once you factor in the delays and then all the bug fixing after S4 drops, you end up with a season thats only 6-8 weeks long. So end up wasting peoples time and money. Its clear that Daybreak cant stick to a 3 month schedule and just makes things worse by pretending they can.
Well, looks like we'll be getting some recolored skins and new arcade modes. Still waiting for patch notes.
Wow there is absolutely nothing exciting about that update..."hey guys get ready for arcade mode" theyve been doing arcade since season 1. they mix up the weapons so that the whiners can be happy about the items they hate being removed "shotguns and crossbows are op" lets remove them for a day, "too many vehicles in the final circle" lets run around at hyper speed with no vehicles, one day..the next, you get exposed by only riding a quad.. Yay! BORING! Nice try
NA servers are coming offline in 30 minutes and they still haven't released the patch notes. But more Arcade modes is great, since the game has such a large player base. Who needs a new map, vehicles or weapons ot any bug fixes anyway...

Was like that in season 3 where they were fixing stuff that i didnt even know existed and seemed to apply mostly to stuff in fives.The wall of text in the previous changelog was mostly padding that didnt address any of the core issues that have existed since the beta. The only thing worth mentioning was the nerfing of crossbow and the line they added to the gas (which was not mentioned). So all that in space of 16 weeks. Its laughable! Season 4 is out today but dont expect it to be very functional. You still cant play FFA with more than 20 people without the game coming to halt. So the idea of more arcade modes is pointless when daybreak cant even support existing modes. The user base is already reducing massively in Battle royal so to split the base further with more modes is another shocking terrible decision. The biggest mistake was to not support BR and develop it further.
