While running older content with other players over the last few days, we noticed that every time we zoned our mounts would be cancelled and we would have to recast them. Looking more carefully it seems that buffs are also being cancelled and needing to be recast each time we zoned. Consumable items (though not all of them) also seem to be affect. i.e. Totems like Spirit Totem of the Wolf gets cancelled. (hate scrolls didn't seem to be affected). This wastes consumable resources and is also just a general nuisance. This is when mentoring via Chronomage. I am uncertain if this is affected when mentoring another player or not.
It also seems to act like it's just committed a new aa spec and gives the splash screen of granting titles, aa abilitites etc, when specs weren't changed or added to.
We have not been able to reproduce this issue yet. Are there any steps we can take to reproduce it more easily that you have found?
Out of curiosity, did you happen to level up in any way while you were mentored? (AA, Ascension, TS, or Adv)
Some effects are expected to be cancelled on zoning. Are there specific buffs and consumables that are affected that we can check?
