Choosing it did put me in instance 2 but only because I knew that normally there would be a 2 after the name.
The doors to zones are also missing instance numbers. Examples: Shar Vahl to Shadeweaver's Thicket & Shar Vahl to Savage Weald. The options are exactly the same: Savage Weald on one line and Savage Weald on the next line.
Is there any update on this? Not only are the instance numbers still missing, in at least the case of Shadeweaver's Thicket the instances are out of order. When there is more than one, clicking on the second one invariably is putting my group's members into the FIRST instance, and clicking on the first entry is putting us into the SECOND.
