   I have the Zakir's Jux and looking at the list of upgrades, I see nothing that takes status AND a Zakir's.

   Yes, there is a top tier. Once you have that tier there is nothing more to upgrade

   I know there's a top tier, that's not the issue.
   None of the upgrades asks for a Zakir's and coins.

   Because it's the top tier. You can not trade the top tier in for another one. Why would another adorn take the top tier one?
