Hi guys, So, I have subbed continuously since launch, but actually stopped playing bar the odd drop in and out for the last few years. So I started a necro (on AB) got myself a nice pally merc (I think) from a merc crate I got via SC claim, and a familiar that dropped in Steamfont. I have managed to get to level 100 (343 AA atm) by doing zones as they seemed to come up, but this has led me to my issue, I dont know what to do now, I have 'completed' Phantom Sea, and am now wondering where to go next. I know nothing about the Ascension classes, how/if they tie in with my current level or what? Ascension are like new spells. But they are part of KA zone. The trainers for that are there, there are 4 ascension classes. You can only level one at a time but can switch anytime you want by talking to a trainer. As you earn exp, it will also go to that class IF you have ascension exp to earn. Think limited exp available to learn (get from books from trainer or rested exp). I think Kunark Ascending is next for you but I'm not sure exactly. This will be a start for you to research, at least, until those more knowledgeable speak up. BTW, I'm on AB, though I often don't log on. Go to Sundered Frontier by the spire and do the panda quests. Pick up the Ascension bauble. Use it. Go to Ob. Frontier and talk to the Etheralist ascension trainer as that's the one you'll want as a soloer (biggest DPS). Then start Planes of Prophecy, pick up the gear, and quest in Planes first. Then get your mail and do the Kunark Ascending quests. Finally, do your Epic 2.0. It is possible to solo + merc the epic 2.0 at level 110, but two of the heroic steps may be difficult and you may have to beg for help. I would also recommended doing the Terrors of Thalumbra quests so you get a nice secondary slot item once you finish KA. You can do it out of order.
