    I'm not sure I understand, please explain more, as I dunno how this is any advantage, other than cancelling it early.

    If you don't want to go looking up on the maintained window, and want to save time, you can just hit the buff again. Hitting it again cancles it. Or at least it does so for maddening defense.

    Before the LN, you could click it off via Maintained Spells, so this is no big change.

    Yeah, this is more difficult than the current method--just hit the toolbar button again. This one falls into the "Who gives a [expletive ninja'd by Faarbot]?" category.

    Though you have to remember that Sony has low level programmers that deal with bugs like this. Where the big class affecting bugs are probably done by only a few.
