Well now I've officially thrown in the hat on the prestige tree, I've given up on ever having something that is really good. Dual conversion is the only way to go. The DPS loss was too great for me, I easily lost 50-70K's worth of damage (Note, I'm not a top end wizard where this might not matter that much, it's very noticeable for me).
