I'm looking to two box a Troubador with another toon and i've narrowed it down to either a Paladin or a Druid(Fury or Warden). I'll mention that i have no plans to raid or do instances with these toons....not while boxing them anyways...I just want them to do some heroic quests together...taking on a group of single up arrow heroics or maybe a blue or green triple up arrow heroic now and then. My question is can the Troubador tank these MOBs ok while boxing with a healer? I'm worried that the Troubador might get beat on too quickly...thus causing me too lean towards boxing with a Paladin as the main tank. That would really cut down on my healing should the @#$$ hit the fan though.
A druid brings the ports, and they make the game experience a lot more enjoyable when leveling alts. But to min/max here the order of efficiency of the healers for this duo templar/mystic/fury/inq/warden/defiler ,from best to worse. It will get easier when both toons get enough AAs to spec decently, only to get a lot harder when reaching the higher tiers. Tanking heroics in RoK is out of the question before raid gear. In order for your troub to tank heroics you will need to: - spend 8 AAs in the shield boost "skald's defense" - always keep your gear upgraded thanks to the new mastercrafted items. - cast your group deaggro (now 8%, not that usefull but it's not as if you had a better buff to cast instead ) then cancel it in your buff window, NOT in the maintained spells window. This way your healer will have the -8% but not you, and this works with all other buffs in game as well. - You will need to dps with the healer, but be carefull not to pull aggro.
