Where is problem?

    Hi. We were on raid. I was in group with another warlock + troubadour and another...
    I tryed, upon 2 deaths, in one encounter cast only chaotic maelstrom and MT (in another group) had always nihilism on from me and at the end only 2 single nukes. Compare me and another warlock, from where comes dmg Dissonant Note (know it's a bard buff, which deals another dmg). I casted only 2 dmg spell. I don't wish die if I don't know why...

    Look, question is, from where come my damage if I don't cast nothing except Nihilism (count for tank) and Chaotic Maelstrom (no damage, attack speed reduction and lowering resists).
    From where comes 33 hits of Dissonant Notes. Other warlock casted many damage spells and has only 3 hits...
    Is it clear enough?

    Have you read what dissonate note does?
    You can't cast spells like Chaotic Maelstrom or Wicked Gift if a troub gives you that buff...you will die.

    If hostile spell is casted, there is some % to do x-y damage...

    But I don't know, that maelstrom is "bugged"? this way. It seems it spread still, even if all mobs in encounter have it on himself :smileysad:

    He's nailed this dead-on.
    You need to be very aware of what spells your group/raid members are casting. There are a number of spells that will cause cascading reactions with our spells.. which leads to a very dead warlock, very quickly, if you are not careful.
