This no longer summons its appearance slot companion, however, or I am mis-remembering how this item is acquired. I have both on an alt brawler character, and I was wanting to move them, but the Aether Striker is actually no-trade (rather than heirloom).
How often are you able to camp him? I can't say I'm familiar with this item-- at least, Sentinel's Fate was so long ago that I certain don't remember it. I can say this: in 2011, a good number of quest rewards and body drops were removed from the game with a game-wide reitemization. It's entirely possible that this version can no longer be obtained.
That's kind of what I'm thinking, it's just not obtainable anymore. Due to being able to use two of the same item in appearance main hand/offhand wardrobe slots, it's not a huge deal, but I was just curious.
