[p]To all SOE customers thinking about purchasing the EQ2Players.com upgrades (leaderboards, profiles, rankings, etc.):[/p][p] [/p][p]Here is a summary of just about every thread in this forum. The upgrades do not work as advertised. Not only have they ceased functioning completely for the past 7 days, but the system is saturated with problems beyond that. In addition, functionality has been removed since SOE started charging for this product, and they have been non-committal about restoring the lost features.[/p][p] [/p][p]Not only is the product defective, but the support team has not been as communicative as they should be. In fact, I have never seen such a poor response from a supplier of a defective service. Especially a paid premium service. So far all SOE has had to say is "We know it's broken, and it will be fixed in the future." Meanwhile, customers are unsubscribing steadily. [/p][p] [/p][p]My advice to you, is to NOT purchase any of the upgrades at this time. Wait a month or so, then check back with the forums. But don't assume the product has been fixed just because time has gone by. The items they were "working on" in January, are still the same items they're working on now.[/p]
