I went through this when doing beta for CoE. With no option to tell launcher to NOT redownload whole game, I had to wait for hours for the full download to finish every time I switched. I had no problems during recent beta, the check box was there. But now it is gone again. I want to make a character or two to help test content. Please, how can I fix the launcher so that checkbox is back?
I don't know that I've ever seen a checkbox for that, but I have my test server/beta server things set up from shortly after I got this computer (couple of years now). It sets up in a sub folder in the EQ2 folder. You can save at least part of the initial download the first time you play on test by copying your eq2 folder files to the folder marked "Testserver". Then it would need to just download the files that have changed between test & live or new content that was added. Maybe someone else can give you info about this checkbox.
