My voice chat used to work fine. No one ever had an issue with my voice breaking up or problems ever since voice chat was installed. Then, a month or two ago, people said my voice chat started breaking up. As best I can tell, it started after the SOEemote webcam stuff was incorperated. Please help, this is extremely frustrating. I've basically given up using voice chat in game and I can't lead raids anymore without voice chat. I have no problems with any other programs. I can use Ventrilo for hours with no problems I can use Teamspeak for hours with no problems I can use Ventrilo/Teamspeak while EQ2 is running with no problems. All of the test programs in EQ2 client sound fine. When my voice is breaking up in EQ2 it is still fine in Ventrilo or Teamspeak (ie at exactly the same time) I have restarted EQ2 to no effect I have completely reinstalled EQ2 to no effect I've removed the Custom UIs I installed to no effect I've reinstalled my video/sound drivers to no effect I've removed my firewall to no effect I've changed my QOS network settings to no effect I've removed IPv6 to no effect I bought a new headset to no effect I've moved all my cables and checked the connections to no effect Once in a great while my voice is ok. 90% of the time its not. Please help. Fendaria
Fendaria wrote: Fendaria, sorry for the late response. Are you still having issues with your voice chat?
Yes, I am still having issues. I was able to chat for 2 hours of a raid Friday night only to have it start breaking up on me again. Fendaria
I have a very similar problem. No one could make out anything I say. Vent and other voice chat apps such as Gmail calling works flawlessly. I only have this problem in EQ2.

My computer is plugged directly into the router and does not connect wirelessly. The QOS engine on the router is not enabled. My phone also does not run through the modem/cable. Fendaria
Do me a favor and submit a support ticket. Pm me or TSR Seanf your ticket reference number so we can figure out what's going on.
Some in our guild had similar issues and now use TeamSpeak - join us at 69.167.106.19 port 10085 if it continues.
